Call me crazy, but I’ve always hesitated, making this item for the obvious reasons. Although they are beautiful and make a lovely accent for your kitchen, they have to be treated very carefully to ensure you never put it back on the “hot” stove top. Many of you have been asking me over the years to make such an item. We will be starting off with a model finished in our antique white paint with the popular “bee” stencil in the direct center. This item, however, isn’t just a single use piece of Decour. It makes for a beautiful serving tray on an island or coffee table as well. Plus, it would be perfect for carrying anything you want out to the deck for your next barbecue! Measuring a substantial 22“ x 30“, it is strongly built for longevity and comes with cast Iron handles and padded felt feet so it won’t scratch any of your delicate surfaces. #shoplife #bphproductspotlight

So…….these are the things that make the hair stand up on my arms. When @baber322 and I were given the privilege of dismantling the granary in a local barn, we were like “kids in a candy store!” We could not believe the condition that these beautiful boards were in. After close to 200 years in age, this barn was like walking through a museum. My hand has a span of 10” so this picture gives you an idea of the sheer size of trees that we’re cut and milled years ago. Mother Nature had certainly exercised her ability to gracefully age this once thriving dairy operation. To make a long story short, I have come down to the last pile of these pieces of history. My goal is to create the last of my large barn board trays. So keep your eyes open in the near future for a little walk down memory lane. #localbarnwood #shoplife #bphproductspotlight

“New Product Alert!”
We’ve made our first batch of decorative sleighs, which are 12 inches wide and 36 inches tall. These are perfect for a front entrance table, dining room table or island display. I’ve also seen these leaned up against your fireplace or outside your front door with a potted poinsettia on top of it. I’m not here to design your home but I’m just here to build the things for you to place around it. #bphproductspotlight #shoplocal

The definition of “Patina” is the finish over a surface that develops over a period of time that develops due to weather, stress and/or age. But my personal definition of a finished product is the hardware!! It sure makes these $20 boxes come to life. #shoplife #bphproductspotlight
